Cat. #0005022013: MARJORIE BENNETT

From a massive horde of signatures, all acquired in-person over three decades by autograph hounds Rose and Irene Gellar, comes this highly rare bold vintage inscribed blue ballpoint pen signature on a 3x5-inch off-white card, decorated with a small magazine image, attained in the 1960s. In very fine condition, with some minor wear to the affixed photo, which is not grainy, as the scan here might suggest. Wonderful Australian-born television and movie character actress Marjorie Bennett was memorable as cranky, matronly types in films like Dressed to Kill (1946), Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer, Boris Karloff (1949), Perfect Strangers (1950), Limelight (1952), Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1952), Sabrina (1954), The Human Jungle (1954), Young at Heart (1954), Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops (1955), Our Miss Brooks (1956), Strange Intruder (1956), Man of a Thousand Faces (1957), Cry Terror! (1957), Ocean's 11 (1960), 101 Dalmations (1961), Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), Girls! Girls! Girls! (1962), Promises! Promises! (1963), Mary Poppins (1964), and Billy the Kid Versus Dracula (1966).
